I consider myself to be a pretty good gift giver and in my opinion, the best gifts are both fun and useful. I put together these gift guides with the goal of inspiring you with ideas that would be exciting to give or get while also supporting a variety of health and wellness goals.
All of these items are either things that I use personally, with clients or are on my own wishlist! So whether you are looking for ways to treat yourself this holiday season or need ideas for the food or wellness loving women in your life, I’ve got you covered!
I’ve separated the guide into 3 categories – cooking, wellness and healthy hormones. However, most of the things on all the guides would be beneficial for gut and hormone health.
All that being said, in this season of overconsumption, I’d like to remind you that there’s no one product that has the power to transform your health and you can absolutely reach your health goals without buying any of these things.
Gift Guide: The Cooking Edition
For the cook or foodie in your life who likes to entertain or get creative in the kitchen.
- LAKA matcha – If you hang around my instagram stories you know how obsessed I am with this matcha! If you want all the amazing health benefits matcha offers, quality really does matter so it’s worth the higher price point in my opinion. You can use the code FLANNERY for 10% off.
- Brightland Mini Artist Series – Personally, I think a high quality olive oil makes such a chic, elevated gift. This set of 4 flavor-infused California olive oils is not only beautiful but also a fun way to get creative in the kitchen.
- Beast Blender – This blender is definitely on my personal wishlist. Its compact size and chic look make it an easy, fun and useful addition to your countertop.
- Caraway Cookware – We’re not doing non-stick anymore (no thanks to those hormone disrupting chemicals!) and these are a great non-toxic swap. P.S. a good old fashioned cast iron works great, too!
- Sideyard Shrubs – Use these vinegars to punch up your salad dressings or to mix up a mocktail. Vinegar has great gut health and blood sugar balancing benefits, too.
- Dinner Tonight – I love to give a cookbook as a gift and this one by Alex of The Defined Dish has been one of my most used this year. You can’t go wrong with any of her books or recipes though.
- SideDish Dressings – Also, by Alex of the Defined Dish, these dressing were another great find this year. They are made with simple, clean ingredients and make pulling together a flavorful meal so easy. The Creamy Sesame is my personal favorite which I use to make kimchi sesame noodles almost weekly. Get 15% off (including the cookbook) with code FLANNERY15!
Gift Guide: The Wellness Edition
These are fun options that support overall wellness and self care, including some of my personal favorites!
- The Five Minute Journal – I started using this journal at the beginning of this year and I have loved it. It’s very helpful for shifting your mindset toward gratitude, positivity and abundance which supports overall wellness as well as both gut and hormone healing.
- Left On Friday Playsuit – I discovered this brand over the summer via their amazing swimsuits and this bodysuit is what I want to be wearing to yoga and pilates all winter!
- LumeBox – Red light therapy supports mitochondrial health and can help to reduce pain and inflammation, improve skin health and aid in muscle recovery. This portable version gives lots of versatility!
- Wildling Empress Stone – I love gua sha as a both self care ritual and a natural anti-aging practice. The stone is designed to lift, sculpt and depuff your skin while also supporting healthy lymphatic movement!
- The Skinny Confidential Mouth Tape – Taping your mouth shut at night has multiple health benefits including deeper sleep and better oral health. You can use simple surgical tape but these would make a much cuter stocking stuffer.
- Ilia Makeup – I’ve been using Ilia products for years and it’s one of my favorite clean beauty brands. I love their skin tint serum, multi-sticks and mascara (it’s the only one I’ll use) for an easy natural makeup look. Their holiday sets would make an easy gift, too!
- Root + Bones Marine Collagen – This product is like magic for your hair, skin and nails! I’ve been putting collagen in my matcha for awhile but when I switched to this marine collagen blend I was surprised by how quickly I saw changes in my hair especially. I also just love this woman-owned, TCM-focused brand’s vibe and mission. Use this link to get $20 off your first order.
Gift Guide: The Healthy Hormone Edition
I picked these specifically with someone on a hormone healing journey in mind. For the women in your life working on healing PCOS, regulating their cycle or optimizing fertility.
- Symbi Cycle Harmony Tea – I love this tea as a stocking stuffer for anyone on a hormone healing journey.
- Oura Ring – This chic wearable wellness tracker is so helpful for tracking your cycle and getting more in tune with your body in general. I especially love that it brings awareness to your stress levels, a very important part of hormone healing!
- Heat Healer Body Belt – Another one on my own wishlist! This heated body belt combines PEMF, infrared and red light to promote deep tissue healing and recovery.
- Bala Weight Set – Building muscle is very beneficial for hormones and this set is great for someone starting out with weight training or wanting to boost their yoga or pilates workouts.
- Merit Retrospect – Fragrance is a major source of hormone disrupting chemicals, but thankfully there are brands creating clean perfumes like this one.
- Blue Light Blocking Glasses – Supporting your circadian rhythm is supporting your hormones and wearing blue light blocking glasses in the evening, especially if using screens, is a great way to do just that. The ones I use are by the brand Bon Charge.
- Organic Olivia Digestive + Liver Juice – I am a huge fan of Organic Olivia products and these are two of my faves! Optimizing digestion and liver health are both essential to hormone balance and these are the perfect size for stockings. You can use this link to get $10 off your first order.
