Frequently Asked Questions

Functional nutrition is a holistic and personalized approach to nutrition and wellness. Instead of treating symptoms or conditions, we look for underlying “root causes” of imbalance and take into account how all the body’s systems work together.

Think about how long you’ve been feeling this way. How long did it take you to get here? Healing takes time too! My goal is to help you find symptom resolution and get your body back into a state of balance that you can sustain in the long term.

In my experience, 4 months is the minimum amount of time this takes for most clients. Occasionally, clients need more time, in which case I offer extension options.

The 1:1 program includes GI Map stool testing, HTMA and customized blood labs based on each client’s needs.

No, all sessions are fully virtual.

I do not accept insurance but I am able to accept payment with HSA/FSA funds.

Yes! Payment for my 1:1 program can be split into 4 or 6 monthly payments.

Yes, but not ones that I expect you to follow to a T. My goal is to help you understand what your body needs and give you a flexible framework to follow for meals so you can confidently choose how to nourish yourself! That being said, having guidance and support with planning can be so helpful, especially as you build new habits, so I provide weekly menus and recipes for you to use however works for you!

Learning to understand and nourish your body better will help you in ways both expected and unexpected! While everyone’s experience is unique, targeting your root causes while also working on mindset and foundational habits will undoubtedly bring you closer to your health goals and feeling the way you want to feel. My clients tend to feel most successful when they are committed to showing up for themselves and are willing to explore new ways of connecting to their body and their health.
